Tenshi no uta ga kikoeru

Hello dear followers! The Japanese post titles are back because Takarazuka revue is my life at the moment. *3*

So I helped Zara go crazy with her DVD order and had her buy a few things for me too while she was at it. So yesterday I got these:

OH HI THAR MY INTERESTING LIFE. I bought the Elisabeth II Mook and after quickly browsing it through I came to the conclusion that I was right in getting it. My life could never be complete without all the photos of Mizu!Tooto’s costumes. *q*

Buying Yukigumi R&J DVD was obligatory, of course. We watched it with Zara last night and it was A-MAZ-ING. HEAVENLY. My love for Yukigumi skyrocketed like nobody’s business while watching this and I thought I already loved them to pieces. Kimu and Mimi were fabulous, Kittybalt was sdfsdhf and Chigi!Mercutio I can’t even write anymore. *q* So I won’t. JUST WATCH IT, OKAY?

Umm and then there’s that book with someone called Ouki Kaname. I don’t know what that is. :| No really, I GOT TERU’S PERSONAL BOOK FROM ZARA. AS A PRESENT. WHAT IS THIS? I haven’t even paid for my stuff yet and she’s giving me the hottest presents. GHH you can have the regular version of Chigi’s book in exchange, okay? ♥

I also got this necklace from Tenerife. ZARA STOP GIVING ME PRESENTS ALREADY! I feel like such a bad friend because I never give anything to you. Or to anyone, for that matter. >.>''

~♥~

My sister was cleaning her closets and throwing away clothes she didn’t want anymore. I ended up taking most of them. ^^; Our styles differ quite much so I’m surprised I liked so many things. Here’s a photo of my “new” boyfriend jeans and T-shirt I liked particularly much:

I’ll call this my casual-semi-otokoyaku-like-look or something.

Ugh, I want my hair to grow so I can get a more otokoyaku-ish cut. :'D I think I might start really growing my hair out again soon… But we’ll see. I really liked the two previous cuts I had…

Hmm, I thought I had more to write about… But no-one’s interested in reading my rage over school, job applications or feeling under the weather for the past two weeks. So I’ll just give you this:

imageI’ve started to draw again! All thanks to Zuka. :'D Musumeyaku fan art with a heart in the background, what is this? Click the pic for what I wrote about it in dA. ^^

~♥~

I’ve added my Tweets to the sidebar, by the way. I’m so addicted to Twitter I think it’s making me ill. x3

Anyway, since my brain is so full of Zuka that I can’t even write I think I’ll continue drawing my Chigi/Kitarou drawing now… Or watch R&J again… :D

Until next time, dears~! ♥

P.S. Here’s what I’d like to do to my hair:

red hair2 Lol possibly the worst photo manip ever, but you get the picture. RED HAIR. *___* Also my skin would probably look either dead pale or very red if I ever decided to dye my hair red… I’ll HAVE to buy a red wig for May Day to know for sure…

Razzle dazzle and all that jazz

Happy New Year everyone! It’s been two months since my last post, so I could start the new year with promising that I’ll update my blog more often. ^^

2010 was an unforgettable year, to say the least. I’ve been up so high it feels unreal and I’ve been down to the point where I’ve thought I wouldn’t be able to make it to 2011. But here I am and for the moment I’m feeling positive about the future. Other than updating my blog more I’ll promise to start putting goals to myself and really start acting like the grown-up I’m supposed to be. I’ll also promise not do the same mistakes over and over again, keeping my friends close and be more active when it comes to meeting people, old and new. I’ll do everything I can to avoid depression, exercise and go outdoors regularly and eat more healthy food.

But that’s enough of the new year’s promises. During these last two months I’ve, for example, turned 19, got my driver’s license and cut my hair. I know you want less typing and more photos, so here comes.

Picture 1197 Picture 1217 Picture 1216 I was supposed to go for a more otokoyaku-like cut, but instead ended up with a bob. Getting a less feminine cut = fail but at least the bob suits me and I’ve got a lot of compliments. Many have said that I’m finally out of that typical high-schooler look. Sorry about the bad webcam quality, by the way. The darkest months of the year aren’t the best for taking photographs. …Which actually brings us to my next subject; Christmas! We had a very white one here in southern Finland, as you can see in this photo of our front yard:

It has been snowing even more since this photo was taken. I love snow so this is good news for me. ♥

Next up is my Christmas look:

Joulu10You can’t actually see it in this photo, but my Snö of Sweden necklace matched very well with that shirt. ^^

My main gift for both my birthday and Christmas was a trip to London with my friend Pia. We had to go through a bit of a setback with it when half of Europe got covered in snow before Christmas and Heathrow was closed just the day we were supposed to set off. Well, we got our flights rescheduled and instead of Christmas shopping we went to London just in time for the great post Christmas sales. That is to say we flew to London on the 27th and returned on the 30th. We didn’t do too much shopping, though: too much people for both of us. ^^’’ We did, however, go to see a musical, since we are both big fans of the London West End shows. We got our half-price tickets to Chicago from tkts and I’ve got to say that £33 was a real bargain for each of the third-row seats we got. *-* The show was amazing, the performers were fabulous and we got to see it all just a few meters away from the stage. Love! Here’s a photo of the theater the night after we saw the musical:

I guess I was supposed to notice how hot all of the male dancers were, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off Vivien Carter whose Velma Kelly made me speechless. ♥__♥ I managed to notice though that Billy Flynn was played by Terence Maynard from Young Dracula the TV series! :D

I guess the best word to describe our London trip would be sexy, since the night after we saw Chicago we went to see Burlesque the movie. That too was much fun and full of great singing. Christina Aguilera’s voice is just something else.

Probably slightly inspired by the dazzling London trip, I slept with curlers on last night. If only I could control the curls a bit more I think I would really fall in love with this style…

Not quite the Todoroki curls, right Zara? ^__~ Again, it’s too dark to take photos and with my photographing skills… Well, the last photo seems alright to me, at least.

That’s all for now. See you soon, dears! ♥

Better than love

Ladies and gentlemen, what you are looking at is a post written by one very happy girl. And that was a huge understatement right there. Alright, since you can all guess what this is about I’ll just get to the subject without further delay.

*Insert dramatic drums here*

Friday the 15th was definitely more successful than the one before it, but the reason to my happiness was the same. (Zuka, obviously. There’s still no progress with the video thing. ^^'')

… !!!

I got my new Mizu stuff! *____* I was completely over the moon when I came home from a fashion fair (nothing much to say about that) to find a package from Japan on my table. My sister had apparently signed the delivery for me, so all I had to do was avoid any questions about the price of the delivery from my parents. I snuck the package to my room and squealed and hyperventilated a lot while carefully examining the contents. My mind has obviously been filled with Mizu for the past week. There’s so much to look at and so much to read, if only I could read Japanese, that is. I’ve done a lot of reading, actually. If I would bother to learn some of the more frequently appearing kanji it wouldn’t be all that hard to at least grasp the main concept of all the articles etc. I’m feeling the need to scan every photo of Mizu on the computer for personal usage, but I don’t want to risk ruining the book and the magazines in the process. Plus, there would be so much to scan; I wouldn’t know where to begin. Anyway, that was 97 € well spent. *pats herself on the back*

~♥~

I started to write this entry two weeks ago and I’m sure I had something non-zuka-related to say back then but now… Tehehee. :D Zara has bought like three new DVDs in the past two weeks so we’ve had a Zuka night two Saturdays in a row. Pari no Sora Yori mo Takaku was great of course, but nothing can beat what we watched yesterday. Roget/Rock on! is something that I must buy immediately, sorry Zuka shopping list! I’ve fallen in love. I’ve found my post-Mizu favourite takarasienne. I’m over the moon, about to faint, feeling anxious when I wake up all because of one Sagiri Seina. New obsession, here I come!

(Image from here.) This girl… My Gackt, why do I always forget how to breathe when she pops up from somewhere? *_____*

She’s just… Whoah. You really should see her in action, she’s too cool. Or too hot to handle. I can’t decide which would be the best way to describe her. Hot like ice? (Yes, her character is the bad guy. Why do I always fall for the bad guys? Tooto, Aosetona, vampires in general…) Her acting somehow reminds me of Gackt, and her voice… To die for. I heard her voice in Russian Blue for the first time and fell for it right away. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I’m moving on now to save the last bit of sense I have in me.

(Got to say just one more thing related to this… My dad randomly decided to up our (mine & my sister’s) monthly allowance by 25 €. YAYYYY! Now I can almost afford the DVD with the handling and postage fees… …Ohmigackt, this is not good for my sanity…)

…Just one more and I promise to stop spamming.

(Source.) Is she cool or what? *q* *dances away to find a bucket*

~♥~

I’ve had a massive skin problem for a month now. I don’t want to go into too much detail here, so I’ll just say that the skin on my face was so dry I was afraid it would come off altogether and I had a nasty rash on my neck and even armpits.  I went to see a doctor on Wednesday and got four different creams with which to start healing my skin. The most healing cream worked like magic and my skin was back to normal in three days. Now I’m just mad at myself for not seeing a doctor sooner. -.-

~♥~

Next subject: mood swings! I’ve about had it. Last week I was feeling under the weather because of my skin. Yesterday I was angsting big time, probably due to lack of Chigi sleep. Today has been a massive rollercoaster. I think I’ve regained some of my appetite after two days of not feeling like eating much. (And here I thought it was impossible for me to lose my appetite.) I haven’t exactly cried (got enough of that yesterday) but I’ve been down. But I’ve also been high with a texting war about Zuka meets Star Wars with Zara and finding Roget/Rock on! online. And the best of all? I started jumping up and down with joy when I got my hair crisis (yes, it’s always there) under control.

Picture 1174(A bad webcam photo is bad.) This isn’t inspired by Chigi’s cheek bones. It’s a bit difficult to see in the photo (Why do I feel like I’ve written something like that before?) but my hair actually looks quite nice! A bit like Kathryn Morris’ in Cold Case. Well, I always thought I liked her hair and that it would probably suit me too. Well, it does! And guess what? I may have found a perfect cut, if I ever decide to get rid of these locks. Buh-bye hair! …Or not. :3 We’ll see…

~♥~

Now, I absolutely must watch more Chigi call it a night. Only two hours of school tomorrow and then I’ll be off to do some depression shopping. A blazer, a frilly dress shirt, a hat, a mini skirt… Dum-de-dum, I’ve got a list of new clothes I want. :3 If I can find any that suit me and my taste, that is…

Until next time, dearies~!

In for a kill

Put all your angels on the edge
Keep all the roses, I’m not dead

Missed me much? :D I’ve caught a cold so I didn’t have to go to school today. And you know what that means, right? Spending the whole day on the computer! …Ahem, I obviously meant to write ‘resting and trying to get better’. x3

I should really do something to improve the quality of this blog… It’s really starting to bother me that my most used tags are random and fail. >.<’’ I’ve been thinking about sorting my blogs out. This one would be for my life in general, Alteregoizm would remain the vampire blog, my lj would be for fandoms, I’d have an angst blog and a writing blog and lastly, I’ve been thinking of starting some kind of a fashion blog. That’s six blogs in total. I wouldn’t be able to update any of them, would I? But I really need a fashion blog for my studies… Would it get very confusing if I just started adding some fashion illustrations here? o.O

Anyway, my blog improvement started with a new header. I was tired of the old one, but now I’m not sure if the new header quite fits the current layout. I really wouldn’t want to change this blog’s appearance too much… The light violet text on the darker background probably isn’t the most eye-catching, but I really like this colour scheme. Life’s hard.

On to the happy events of these past two weeks! Tarja’s new album What Lies Beneath was released on the 1st of September but I only got my hands on it on the 2nd.

(Distracting Mizus of my school folder in the background) I obviously had to buy the Deluxe Version of the album, with three extra songs and a video of Tarja talking about WLB. :3 I’m loving this CD so much! Musically, it still isn’t at the same level as Nightwish, but Tarja’s voice is so beautiful! I’m loving the lyrics in most songs, too. I really felt the hype for this album when Tarja released the videos of Falling Awake, I Feel Immortal and Until My Last Breath. Luckily, the rest of the songs didn’t disappoint either. I think this album is more mature than My Winter Storm, but the musicians still need to put more passion to their playing to really bring out Tarja’s voice as best as they can. I’ve listened this from the top for about 13 times and by now I’m loving about every song, even the slower ones that didn’t quite catch my attention on MWS. Tarja’s first solo album had a couple of songs that felt more personal, My Little Phoenix for me and I Walk Alone for Tarja herself, the Alice Cooper cover Poison that still sounds great, and Lost Northern Star and Boy and the Ghost that I still keep listening, but WLB is an album I can keep listening without skipping one song. Unlike I Walk Alone, I still haven’t grown bored with Falling Awake. Major improvement there! And I can’t do a mini-review of this album without mentioning the extra song that got me drooling; Still of the Night, a Whitesnake cover that rocks my socks! The lyrics, the power, the love! *-*

Next up: what I did last weekend!

I went to see my grandparents in Lahti. There was some kind of an art day, so the town was full of events from free tickets to various museums to a 50’s fashion show. It was fun, but the freezing weather (about 12 Celsius degrees and a terrible wind) made it slightly unpleasant to go from one place to another.

Me and my granny went to an art gallery where the first 50 visitors got a surprise gift. Thus, I am now two Neopikos richer than last week!

I really couldn’t remember which two colours I had already, so I just took a turquoise marker that looked nice. My granny picked a pink one, which she gave to me afterwards. *-* I also bought a Japanese brush-like pen, since they had a 20% discount on every product they had. I really don’t know what that pen should be called, but it has a brush tip and black ink inside. Taitti had bought one of those before and she liked it, so I thought I could get one as well. :3

Other than that, my weekend was very tasty. Dad’s mom took me to a Spanish beef restaurant for lunch on Saturday and in the evening we had some apple pie she had made with ice-cream and other tasty things afterwards. On Sunday I ate porridge for breakfast, with some delicious blueberries and nonna, my mother’s mom, took me to Santa Fé to eat some more beef for lunch (pear ice-cream with caramel sauce for dessert, as usual ♥).

When I got back home, it didn’t take long before my dad came back from Tour de Helsinki, a big bicycle race, with his collar bone broken. He had fallen over at around 3 p.m. and was heading to hospital, just stopping by the house to pick some clean clothes with him. We’ve been having a bit depressing mood at home this week, since he hasn’t even been able to have a surgery yet. Get well soon, daddy! ;__;♥

~♥~

On to shopping! Actually, I was shopping on last Thursday, so these should have been higher up the post, before my trip to Lahti. Anyway, I finally bought myself a pair of leggings!

(Sorry for the face lag, took the photo today, with no make-up on and feeling ill.) I remember swearing I’d never get a pair of leggings. Well, as they say, one should never say never. :D Takarazuka freaking fandom, would you stop messing with my mind already? …The leggings are actually a bit thin-fake leather-like and look more shiny in real life. :'D With those boots… (Hey, I’m also showing you my lovely new feet-killers here!) Internet is for porn? :____D I really don’t know if I’ll ever have the guts to wear those anywhere public. x3 My wardrobe isn’t exactly full of clothes that could be worn stylishly with leggings…

Ahem, anyway, I also bought a you know what… Nail polish! FAIL! xD

OPI DS Coronation. (No I didn’t spend 19,95 € on a nail polish when I’m saving for all that Zuka stuff and dreaming of new clothes… >.>'')

In a toilet artificial light…

…And natural light.

As always, the application is perfect. *-* You just can’t go wrong with an OPI DS polish. This would actually have been a three-coater, but the sparkliness allowed me to go with just two coats. (I did my nails at around midnight and was supposed to wake up at six in the morning. x.x)

Now I’m tempted to wear DS Extravagance next, but I’m also getting a feeling that I haven’t had red nails for too long… D: The problem of owning too many nail polishes, it’s always a pain to decide which one to wear next!

…I also bought two zippers to sew on the legs of a pair of black pants to make them more up-to-date. :3 Just have to get around to actually doing it…

~♥~

Lastly, I would like to share something related to style with you! :3

A photo from Stockmann’s Premier magazine. If I had the money, I would definitely go and buy some of those clothes! *-*Especially the ones in right… And about all the shoes… Damn, why are Stockmann’s clothes so expensive? T-T

~♥~

That’s about it. See you next time~

The vampirism strikes back

Yes, my dear readers, I have officially refound my inner vampire! I guess I kind of lost her among all that Takarazuka-fangirlism, winter depression, otokoyaku style loving, school and other random things which have occupied my life during these past eight months or so. (My vampire tag actually tells me that I have been rambling something about vampires a couple of times during that time, but a total obsession has stayed in the back of my mind.) With vampirism, obviously my love for nobility has also got stronger and I’ve been in a princess mode. But if you want to read more about that and see some photos, you can visit my other blog. ^^

Graduation dress update: I haven’t made any progress during these past two weeks. WHOOPSIE. :__D Well, maybe this weekend? Tomorrow?

I’ve got some good and bad news for you. Bad news first. My old camera, dear Tutankhamen (a.k.a. der Tod) died tragically. It just broke down when I was taking photos. At first I thought that it was just out of batteries, but then it wouldn’t turn on even with the batteries full. And it was just when I was having a princess photo shoot. Here be a webcam photo for you anyways:

Picture 981You can see a part of my graduation dress, the white corset, here. ^^ And the staring GACKT on the background, he must not be forgotten!

And now on to the good news! My dad was kind enough to buy me a new camera right the next day! Let me introduce you to my new baby, Scarlett –DIVA version- (She Is My Sin). *drum solo*

Ahem, a tiny mirror photo, sorry about that. ^^' Anyways, she’s red and tiny and she’s got some 12.1 megapixels, so that’s a major update from der Tod with his 7.1 megapixels. I wouldn’t want to resize my high quality photos at all!

I’ve forgotten half of the things I meant to blog about… >____>'' Well, I guess I should mention the warm weather we had here in Finland last week. What a bliss to have nothing to do but to sit inside and watch the L-word spend time outside in the sun. I painted our terrace and got a sunburn on my back. :')

Hmm what else? Oh, right. I had my first entrance exam yesterday, and after sitting in the exam for an hour trying not to fall asleep, I left an almost empty paper to the inspector and headed out to find Taina. We spent the rest of the morning in Helsinki, getting rid of our money. I bought four new mangas, Vampire Knight 6, Love Celeb 3 and accidentally started collecting a new series, Kuroshitsuji. I’m still not accustomed to calling it by it’s English name, Black Butler. Well, I didn’t mean to, but I ended up buying two volumes, because I didn’t look too carefully and bought the second volume first. When I noticed this I just had to buy the first volume, right? And now I have a grand total of 110 mangas. :__D

I’ve also got addicted to Promarkers (thanks, Taina) and as of yesterday/today, Neopikos too. I’m finally finding my creativity muse after such a long time!

Strange, even when I’ve got nothing to write I end up rambling for ages. :'D

I spent my weekend at my grandparents’ cottage with them and my dad, collectin these mushrooms:

And obviously I had to try out Scarlett’s abilities at macro photography. :'3

And lastly, I want to share with you a musical masterpiece by Hans Zimmer:

God, that song is just beautiful! Especially in Hebrew, for obvious reasons. I’ve always loved the Prince of Egypt, but not until with my recent interest in film music have I noticed what an amazing piece of art this song is. This is one of the songs that have the chills running down my spine every single time I hear it. “River, oh river” especially. *___* And the most amazing thing is that this song was sung by an Israeli singer Ofra Haza in 28 different languages, including Finnish. I’ve always just thought that the Finnish singer was changing her pronounciation to bring a certain mood to the song, but to think that the singer actually doesn’t speak one word of Finnish – wow. Just wow. I love this soooo much. Today I even started crying a couple of times while listening to this. (I already had the major music orgasm regarding this song months ago, but it still rises such strong emotions.) Rest in peace, Ofra Haza. (P.S. I just had to buy this through Spotify. *-*)

Next post: nails.

Slowly getting there

Hiya! It’s been too long, again, since the last time I posted anything. I’m guessing that no-one’s all that interested in my Christmas presents at this time of the year, so I’ve decided to just get on with blogging about things in my life right now, it’s far easier that way. (What a clever realization from my part.) ^^

First a brief overall look on my life at present.

Aristocratic vampires are back with full force and I am currently trying to figure out how to bring that out in my appearances, without having to spend all my money replacing the contents of my wardrobe. I’m supposed to be studying to the upcoming university entrance exams but I’m finding an awful lot of nothing and more nothing to do instead. And I have been doing my best to not to buy any new nail polishes in addition to the thirty-something I already have in a beautiful box on top of my closet, and it hasn’t been an easy task. I almost failed at that only last Monday when I was at a local store and they were having a discount on Mavala nail polishes. I only escaped the path of doom when I realized I was holding not one but four bottles in my hands. I left the store without buying any nail polish and was extremely pleased with myself.

Here be an extremely low quality photo of a recent attempt of mine on aristocratic appearance:

Corsets 001(Photoshoots in the middle of the night. <3)

And now to the real subject! Two things have been rocking my boat this week (well, let’s say three and count in the most awesome piece of Gone with the Wind fan fiction ever). First, I got myself a Spotify Premium account and have been listening to a lot of non-Asian music. I have liked the program so far, even with its lack of Asian music. Soundtracks, musicals and Finnish classics have been on the top of my charts these past few days. And even though I have Spotify, I won’t stop buying my beloved CDs, as the people who know me have probably guessed already. ^^

The second thing (or third, since I already mentioned the GwtW fanfic (why do I keep stating the obvious?)) is that I was in Helsinki with my long-time friend Pia last Thursday and we were going to check out some stores to try to find me a graduation dress. We never got to any proper formal clothing shops because Pia reminded me that I had promised her quite some time ago that I would take her to Morticia, a shop that sells gothic/alternative clothing, and now was the perfect time for me to make good on that promise. So, off to Morticia we were and it just so happened that Pia convinced me to try on one of the most beautiful pieces of clothing I have ever seen (or had on me, at least). I wasn’t really going to tell anything about it to anyone else, but I’m way too excited to keep it a total secret. Yes, I found myself quite a gorgeous corset, a metal-boned one and it was such a bargain, too! An overbust for only 50 €! I couldn’t believe my luck. The only slight flaw is that the corset is size 22 (inches, as in the waist measure) and I could have done with at least the size 20. The size 22 doesn’t really take many centimeters off my waist even when tightened to the max, but it was the smallest size available of the precise type, so I took it. And it is flattering enough, in my opinion, even though I’m still dreaming of being able to fit into a size 18, like Scarlett O’Hara in her best days. (I’m just obsessed with Scarlett, 18 inches for a waist is actually terribly little. But I probably could do with something like 19…? Or then I just get used to this 22-inch corset and be happy?)

I see I got a little off track there. Anyways, after what I considered a very successful buy, I was off to a fabric store (Eurokangas, if some Finns are interested) with a huge inspiration to make a perfect graduation dress by myself, despite my mother’s wishes. (When I thought it aloud some time back that I could sew myself a dress she actually moaned out loud that I shouldn’t do it.) I was so excited that I could hardly sit still in the buss on my way to Tapiola, let alone on my way home with the necessary fabrics safely on my hands.

Needless to say, I’ve been sewing like crazy ever since Friday and, to my own very pleasant surprise, I haven’t even screwed up anything essential as of yet. I’m guessing my outfit won’t be the total show-stopper I always dream my best creations to be but I do think it’ll at least turn some heads over to my direction. I have a good amount of possibilities to fail left, though, so maybe I should cool my head a little and just aim for a basically good-looking outfit, instead of that over-the-top vision I have been having on my mind… I suck at keeping secrets, so against my better judgement I might be posting photos of the finished product – or of some parts of it, at least – here before the big day (June the 5th) and thus reducing the possible wow factor I’d wish it to have on some of my friends who read (or at least know of) this blog.

…Am I actually a totally mischievous person?

I meant to write briefly, but with my huge sentences and love for the most complicated way of putting things this entry has again reached the over-length I tend to go to with my posts. (I’d better stop trying to make thing any more complicated than what they already are or I won’t be able to make out what I’m trying to say myself, let alone have you, my dear readers, understand a single sentence. I’ll soon have to get a proofreader for this blog.)

Last but not least I’d like to type a few words about my nails, as you all must have missed them during my latest hiatus. ;) I’m thinking that my nails are right now the longest they have ever been in my life, the ‘white part’ being longer than the nail bed itself, an average of about 9 mm and near to 1 cm at the longest. I’m having a hard time to decide whether to file my nails slightly shorter, to keep them this long or to keep growing them still. And I can’t decide on the shape either. I have been happy with the rounded square shape, or ‘squoval’, I have now, with hardly any breakage or chipping, but I’m getting the feeling that I’d like to go for a more pointed shape again.

Well, here’s a photo of my current nails:

OPIExtravagance They are quite long, aren’t they? (OPI DS Extravagance, by the way. I adore the colour, though this photo isn’t the most becoming one… And I think, since this photo was taken a week ago, that right now my nails are actually half a millimeter longer still. o.o) The funny thing is that when I look at my nails I don’t feel like they are really long at all. I’ve got so accustomed to having long nails that these are starting to feel like the average length, instead of overly long as others may see them. So what about you, my dear readers? Do my nails seem awfully long or horrible-looking to you? Should I shorten them or shape them differently? I’m pretty sure that I won’t shorten my nails too much before graduation, at least, unless something terrible happens… *knocks on wood*

And now, one more question to you all: Are my posts too long to read? Would you rather read some brief updates of my daily life/materialistic dreams/random short entries every other day or so or do you prefer these huge posts of all too much rambling and complicated sentences? I’m open for suggestions, though I’m not sure if I can change the way I write so easily… Once again, I’m really grateful that you have taken interest in this silly blog of mine and I’ll give cookies and ice-cream to anyone who has had the strength to read this whole post. And I’ll give you a hug even if you didn’t really have it in you to read this through, any comments are appreciated!

Till next time, my dears~ (Maybe by then I’ve learned how to write short and interesting entries. x3)

Busted

The shortest blog title yet, yay!

Ehehee, my parents found out about the DVD… :___D Luckily I didn’t get yelled at (as of yet, that is) but mom seemed to be disappointed… I hate disappointing my parents but sometimes it just can’t be avoided. But dad disappointed me first, so I’d say we’re even now. :3 Mom’s reaction kind of made me feel bad, otherwise yesterday would have been about perfect. Thanks for a great Mizu-filled afternoon/evening Zara! <3 *-*

I did a little depression shopping on Monday. ^^'' I went to Sello (yeah, I really think that I’m turning into a masochist) in search of a new winter coat. After going through about three shops I gave up and went to look for a new pair of boots. I finally managed to find ones that fit and pleased my eyes. Here they are:

Shopping1I’m usually not too fond of wrinkled things but these boots are tight enough, so I don’t mind. (Plus AQUA5, k-pop etc. have messed my mind so bad that I won’t be surprised when I find myself liking all kinds of things I couldn’t stand before…) I bought these from DinSko so I’m not expecting them to stay in good shape for too long… I had to spend some 60€ on these only. T-T My bank account is getting emptier by the minute.

Shopping2 I remembered that I needed a new foundation and ended up buying a new nail polish, a white eyeliner and a very thin brush for doing nail art. These were 27,80€ in total. From a local market, nothing too special but good enough for me. ^^

Shopping3 And here’s what I bought today! I went to buy a CD for my dad (we’re celebrating Father’s Day tomorrow here in Finland) and ended up buying this new CD Strike by The Baseballs. I’ve been listening this for basically the whole evening and I am so in love! Rock on rockabilly~ I guess it isn’t a surprise that my love for the 50’s doesn’t limit to clothes, hair and cars but extends to music as well. *-*

Shopping4 And here are my über awesome Tooto-inspired nails. Made by Heta the five-year-old. >.<'' Used my black-ish Nivea nail polish (that I haven’t showed you here yet o.O'') as the base and then a weird grayish GOSH polish to make the silvery parts (oh my Gackt how my English is failing me… T-T) and when I got the new silver nail polish and the small brush I painted the thin silver lines to separate the black and grey. At first I didn’t like these nails at all and just wanted to paint my nails red but then I kind of started to like these after all. (I’m going to start crying soon if my sentences don’t get any better than this. Brain=empty.)

Um, well, since my brain seems to be pretty dead already I could show you a video that completely threw me out of balance the other day. I was at school having a free period and decided to check if there were any new Mizu videos on YouTube. Well, there was this one particular DVD commercial that almost made me cry right there.

OMG. *__________* Seriously, Mizu is too hot and she certainly makes me do evil things to my wallet. God I want that DVD. My soul cries blood. I’m so glad that I’ll be 18 when it’s released, makes buying it easier… It’s scary how Mizu has become such a necessity for me. “Not a want but a need” as they sing in High School Musical… XD Mizu Natsuki is the hottest drug ever. (The DVD on TCA website)

Ahem, how did I end up hyperventilating again? It seems like I can’t make one Mizu-less post anymore… Someone needs to pull me back from clouds. “Earth to Heta, Earth to Heta-” “I’m sorry Sir but I think we have lost the contact. She seems to be out of range already- Ah, wait! I just got a message that she passed Pluto a couple of minutes ago. I’m afraid there’s nothing more we can do for her, poor soul.” :___D Some NASA people are having conversations in my head. XD

Oh yeah, I almost forgot! I got a memory stick full of pics of all kinds of historical & vintage dresses and clothes and thus I’m full of ideas for new sewing projects! (As if I didn’t already have enough of those… >.<'') I hope that I’ll manage to get something done tomorrow…

Total brain lag again, better end this here before things get any more random and messy than they already are. See you later! I’m waiting for your comments, as always~

I’ve died and gone to Heaven

…or maybe this is Yomi no sekai (land of the dead in Takarazuka’s Elisabeth).

Warning! This post is full of completely brainless Takarazuka/Elisabeth/Tooto/Mizu Natsuki fandom. No need to read if this irritates you. Otherwise have fun reading about how my brain decided to melt and pour out through my ears.

I tried to write about this calmly, but it simply doesn't seem to be possible. Sorry~

ADFHJSAGHDFAS!!! I finally got ‘em! Both of ‘em! *_________________________* On Thursday morning around 9:35 o’clock I came from my mother tongue class to find Ida, Zara and a couple of other Mursus (=people I hang around with at school… mursu = walrus… Don’t ask! XD) hanging around in our school’s so-called net café. I noticed a small plastic bag in Ida’s handbag but ignored it thinking that I couldn’t be so lucky as to finally get my Elisabeth CD. I sat there chatting with people when I suddenly noticed Ida and Zara whispering something to each other and instantly thought that there was something going on. Then Ida pulled out the plastic bag and I almost screamed out loud. Not only did I get the Elisabeth CD I was waiting for but there was the DVD also! *_________________* I just couldn’t believe my luck, those evil people (xD) at the German musical store had told Ida that they would be getting more DVDs in 8-12 weeks and yet there it was with the CD. Needless to say I spent the rest of the day hyperventilating and guarding my bag as if my life depended on it. And now I know that these people who dare to call themselves my friends are actually sadists who are trying to kill me by doing everything they can to cause me a heart attack. XD Not really, I love these people! <3 I hope they all had fun watching me completely lose my mind.

Okay, on with the good stuff! Here be a couple of photos of my precious:

Elisabeth2007cddvd Elisabeth2007 Shiny objects are shiny and hard to photograph. :__D Sorry for the small size but I think that a) our dear Takarazuka would prefer it that way and b) Mizu-Tooto’s hotness would completely melt your brains too if the photos were any bigger than they are now. :3 Here comes the basic description of what I got (from left to right ^^): Takarazuka Elisabeth (2007 Snow Troupe version) double DVD w/ a beautiful shiny booklet and a lovely ‘How to use this DVD’ card with Mizu on it (goin to my wall somewhere near the Russian Blue/Rio de Bravo flyer I got from Ryu <3) and Takarazuka Elisabeth (2007 Snow Troupe version) double CD w/ a lovely shiny booklet. *3* Both the CD and the DVD include the full musical with final numbers and everything plus the DVD includes a bonus track of the musical’s rehearsals and the possibility to watch some scenes from a different angle (concentrating on one of the actresses). Lots of Mizu angles. *3* No, I won’t admit anything! Especially nothing concerning Mizu practicing Yami ga hirogaru otokoyaku dance number in a blouse and tight pants… Those hips… *dies at the thought*

Ehm, where was I? Did I have something more to add? I just managed to empty my brain again (or what’s left of it anyway). :''D This isn’t good for my concentration at school… Just when I thought I was getting better at maths again… Obsessions are so dangerous. Oh, I can’t wait to get some people to come over to my house to watch Elisabeth and drool all over the living room’s floor~. (Next Friday, Zara! *3* <3) I’m doing my best to get everyone around me addicted to this. :''D Maybe this post’s title should have been ‘Back to square one’ or something, because I’m kind of doing the exact same thing I did last June. Back then I managed to get Zara hooked *mischievous laughter* *hugs Zara* and now I’ve pretty much won Ani over, too (wasn’t all that hard with Tooto being a bit vampire-like character with a powerful voice). :3 Taitti and Niina are goin down soon, too, I’m sure of that. People who already love these mysterious beautiful characters, long silver hair and cool costumes won’t be hard to convince. >:3 Boo-hoo, now I feel like a horrible, selfish person. T-T And I also feel that I’m writing something totally random and unnecessary… Okay, before moving on I’ll just thank Siru for posting Ryu’s and Ayu’s Tooto/Elisabeth/Rudolf cosplays and a few Elisabeth videos which got me addicted. :3 And thanks Ryu and Ayu for amazing costumes!

Gah, I just realized that I was supposed to get to the point when I started that previous paragraph. :____D FAIL. Okay, now, what’s rockin’ my world besides der Tod? I’d like to do Tooto nails right now. (Lol, failed at changing the subject. XD) I need some silver & glittery nail polish. And I’ve got *ahem* a couple of inspirations. :''D I know your just dying to get a list, so here goes:

1. Sewing: a victorian dress, a corset, a dress shirt… Was that all? Ah, one more; a black vest (pinstripe?)

2. Knitting: a white beanie or a beret

3. Jewelry: cameo jewelry, some silver rings made of silver wire and some beads etc.

4. Decorative stuff: nail decorations, cellphone charms (like cupcakes etc.)…

5. That gothic manor dollhouse!

It certainly seems like I’ve got a lot of projects… Mom hates me for never finishing anything… ;__; (Being addicted to Facebook games & Gaia Online’s halloween event doesn’t really help. x3)

Wow, now I’m exhausted! I guess it’d be best if I just finished here… Sorry for all the fandom, craziness and overall randomness. Thumbs up for those who actually got around to reading the whole thing. ^3^ Lots of love & kisses to you all!

Oh, and Happy Halloween by the way! :3
