Got trolled by Blogger

So, last Saturday I logged in on Blogger only to find all my blogs deleted. I thought someone had hacked my account but today I noticed that all my blogs are back, so it must’ve been just some kind of a glitch. At least from now on I’ll remember to do proper backups.

I did manage to get some kind of a backup version up last Saturday. Here’s what I posted (without the part where I whined about the blogs disappearing):

So, life. I’ve had this week off school because it’s the autumn holiday. Yay! I’ve been the definition of lazy, napping through every morning and not leaving the house once between last Friday and last Thursday. :’D I’ve been feeling down because I fail at life etc. But these three days have been better. On Thursday I had ballet (which is still fabulous ♥) and I even got around to dragging my butt to Sello so I could buy shorts for ballet classes and the new Evanescence CD. ♥

Today I was seeing my grandparents again with my dad and uncle and that meant lots of chocolate cake. ♥

There are also new photos of my lovely face! First from last Wednesday when I finally got around to prettifying myself up a little just to prove myself it is something I am able to do.

HetajaPopunaSo the photos aren’t good, as usual, but Idk, at least my face looks okay? It was thundering like crazy and I felt cuddly so I took photos with Popuna the pig. :3

Picture 1931I also have like a million and one webcam photos from that night, which probably means I felt pretty. Success!

Yesterday (well, on Friday to be exact) I saw Zara, Nepi and Sini in Helsinki for a lunch and some photo-taking! It was fun and just what I needed. It had literally been forever since the last time I saw anyone except people from school.

So I managed to do what I do best: I herped

HerpI derped

DerpI looked dead

HetajaZaraAnd I proved that people shouldn’t take photos of me inside when there’s not enough light

Kiinalaisessa…and I don’t like flashes

Evilsalama:’D

Okay, that was possibly the crappiest post I’ve written so far but oh well. More posts to come when I have more to write about. ;)

Until next time, dears~♥

Desperate attempt at bringing this blog back to life

Hello again my dear readers! I can’t believe it’s been three months since the last time I’ve posted anything here!

So let’s see what’s been going on in my life for these past months. My summer went relatively well, although I managed to spend most of it online. My summer trip no. 2 was going to Pärnu, Estonia with my family. It was fun, except for a couple of  minor family crises that made me think we will never go on a family trip again. I don’t have many photos, as usual, but you’ll get to see what I bought (read: what dad bought for me) from there. :)

Shortsit

Oh God, possibly the worst photo ever and nobody even mention the pose. The point of this: the lace shorts and the heels. ♥

An Affair in Red Square

New nail polish no. 1 – OPI An Affair in Red Square ♥

New nail polish no. 2 – (the blue one) OPI DS Magic ♥

New shirt no. 1 and also the most recent photo of my lovely face. :'3

Naama

New shirt no. 2 featuring my kawaii face.

~♥~

Other real life news: My sister turned 18 in August and got her driver’s license and I’ve started driving to school. I’ve been to my grandparents’ cottage with my dad and uncle to pick mushrooms and I’ve seen a concert version of Jesus Christ Superstar in Lahti and the Finnish version of Tanz der Vampire (which was AMAZING and cost me way more than I would’ve liked) in Seinäjoki. School has been better again, but I’m supposed to start on-the-job training soon and it’s making my stress levels go up again. I’ve finally started taking ballet lessons and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. Now I just need to stop being lazy on Thursdays and actually go to the classes every week. :'D

~♥~

Things that are rocking my world: internet with all the amazing people I’ve met (hi guys I love you ♥), and Takarazuka. I’ve written my first fan letters to my princess a.k.a. Sagiri Seina and bought the ultimate amazingness a.k.a. said princess’ Bow Hall show’s DVD. Nijinsky, you guys. Watch it. Now. ♥ Also, my dear Zara was in Japan so I had her buy me everything I could afford, namely these things:

♥___________♥ Everything is shiny and nothing hurts. Obviously Zara bought a lot of stuff for herself too, and we had the best 'Zuka sleepover this weekend. ♥ Yukigumi. ♥

~♥~

Dad installed Windows 7 on my computer last week and everything looks shiny now. We did three different backups of my old files and stuff but I still haven’t figured out how to get some things back the way they used to be. Like my Firefox bookmarks. ASDFASGDF. And I finally got the new Photoshop dad promised to buy me years ago. I actually got the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium and it’s so full of things I hardly know how to use it. A huge leap from my old Elements 2.0.

Okay, that’s enough of text for now. Hopefully I’ll get back to more regular updates soon! Until next time, lovelies. ♥

Nenepanic!

Unf, well hello there again. I have apparently tried to start a new blogpost last month when I got this baby in the mail:

It’s the Hoshigumi R&J! *__________* Oh baby, am I even in love. With Terubalt. And her… his? ass. :__D The title of this post comes from when I was watching this with Zara and we decided that Juliet’s anxiety attacs (there are a lot of those in this show) should be called Nenepanic, after the top musumeyaku Yumesaki Nene. Who, btw, is the ultimately cutest thing ever. ;3;
Other than RomiJuri, my life has been filled with internet, school, depression and *dumdedum* Chigi-chan! I kind of ordered two versions of her personal book and her calendar AND her stage postcard… ^^’’

Here’s my new prescious stuff! (Well, I’ve had them for almost three weeks now…) I was so happy when I opened the package from Japan and found all of these inside! My acquaintance in Japan had been very thoughtful and bought me the personal calendar that came with the clear file. The four chirashi also came with that. The upper one of the personal books (oh God, I just typoed and wrote boobs instead *dead* x.x) came with a DVD with approximately 30 mins of footage from the first photoshoot of the book. And aside from the stage postcard I had ordered, I also got another postcard with the greetings from my acquaintance. Thank you so much!
Now let’s not discuss the amount of money I spent on all that Zuka stuff last month…

~♥~

Other than that, I’ve been very low these past two months. Mostly because of school and all the things I should have done already. And then there’s the situation in Japan. I don’t even have any Japanese friends, but of course the horrible events make me feel bad for everyone in the land of the rising sun. I can’t even write anything about it, but Japan stays in my thoughts. Hopefully everyone will stay safe and the rebuilding can start soon. ;__;

~♥~

And… I got a new haircut again. It’s not even near to what I had hoped it to be, so I’ve been even more unhappy since last Wednesday.

Picture 1460Guh.
Well, it’s not all that horrible I guess, but still… T-T I’ve been trying to tell myself that hair will always grow back and the I can go for the otokoyaku look I’ve been yearning. Until then I’ll just have to try to learn new ways to do this current hair and not look in the mirror too much. >____>’’
Oh, and I figured you might want to see that hair better, so I took a video with my webcam:

Depressed me is depressed. Sorry for the boring post. I’ll try to cheer up and write something more interesting next time.

Infection

(I seem to have fallen to the level where all my titles are song names. :'D)

It’s time for apologies and explanations again. Sorry for the lack of updates. School is eating up all my free time and I haven’t slept nearly enough in the past four weeks or so. Also, my fever at the beginning of the month extended and I also caught an eye infection, so I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather. I’m already healing up, so there’s no need to be too worried.

I’ve failed a lot, due to the illness (I hope). On the 13th I managed to lose my phone. The next Monday I lost my bus card. I was so frustrated I can’t put it into words! I’d probably lose my own body if it were possible. -____-'' Well, the good news is I got a new phone! Here she is:

My new Nokia 5230. The Siren ~Redemption~ (No, I still haven’t got rid of my habit of giving names to my electronical devices.)

~♥~

On the 22nd I attended the much anticipated gig of D’espairsRay, without any make-up due to the eye infection. I had lessons until four o’clock, so I headed to Helsinki straight from school. I got my new bus card first and then went to grab a little something to eat and drink before the gig with Zara and Sami. Taitti joined us when we were already queuing inside. I started to panic about getting a right-sized tour shirt, as I always do, but in the end both me and Taitti got our shirts and found a good place to enjoy the gig from, right next to the mixing table.

The set list was amazing. No, I’m not just saying, it really was that good. The only song I still missed was Reddish, but other than that I was completely blown away. The first two songs, BORN and Marry of the blood, had me thinking I must have died and gone to heaven. The rest of the songs didn’t let me down either. Garnet, fuyuu shita risou and DEATH POINT kept the mood up, but when they played dope, 13 -thirteen-, Love Is Dead and Damned in a row I was on Cloud nine. I enjoyed in vain and Devils' Parade, but Abyss got me a little distracted from the show, as I hadn’t paid it all that much attention when listening to MONSTERS. Lost in re:birth wasn’t my favourite song either, but Hollow got me back on track again. I was more than happy listening to Human-clad monster and REDEEMER, and then Abel to Cain made me go wild. The encore with forbidden, TRICKSTeR and MIRROR was great, but I felt a bit unsatisfied with the lack of Reddish. Both me and Taitti were all “So when will we see D’espairsRay again?” afterwards and were sad to read about the break they are taking after this tour. But as long as Hizumi will get his vocal cords in shape again it’s all good. Thank you for the amazing show again, D’espairsRay!

~♥~

I’ve actually been a bit depressed lately, probably due to the shortening days of autumn. I’ve been forced to wake up at 5:40 a.m. for way too many mornings in a row and it’ll only get worse after the (heavenly!) autumn break of 11 days starting next Thursday. Technically we aren’t allowed to eat anything in our classroom at school, so I’ll have to start having breakfast at home rather than just taking my morning tea and sandwiches with me when I leave the house. This means that I’ll have to wake up at 5:20 practically every weekday morning. I do not approve of this! Well, I can’t really complain since I was the one to decide I’d go to school so far away from home, but still. >.<''

Okay, enough of that rant for now. If I won’t update my blog too frequently from now on it’s just that I’m depressed and tired, that’s all. But! On to nicer subjects!

Dad bought me the cutest bottle of champagne ever!

(Sorry for the bad photo – as always. x3) Look, my Nicolas Feuillatte is wearing a pink winter coat! Just how cute is that? :D Now all I need is a pink coat with white fur for myself and a chihuahua with a matching outfit and I’m all set for a very chic New Year’s party or something. xD

Also, I got a gorgeous pocket watch from my dad! He already had one that used to belong to his uncle or grandfather, so he gave the other one to me. :D

*____* I don’t know where I’m going to wear it, but its cool. A great piece of accessory for a gothic photo shoot, don’t you think? I just need a chain for it…

~♥~

Last Friday was an exciting one. ;) Zara totally got me a heart-attack by texting me that she had got this:

My Miki in Budokan! *q* I left the house in the morning thinking that my life would be complete once I would get my hands on my new baby in the evening. But before that, I had to visit two museums with the other first-year artisan students from our school and then spend the afternoon in Helsinki with Taitti. We were going to buy some new Neopikos from Stockmann, since they had the big sales (Hullut päivät), but decided against it in the end. I bought some stuff for school, the seventh volume of Vampire Knight manga and, you got it right, nail polish. *sigh* I was only going to get myself a new base coat, but then I got my eyes on this:

OPI Kinky in Helsinki! (VERY inaccurate photo colour-wise. It’s much more… not-red IRL, more like magenta. Go Google it, it’s a pain to capture on camera but I’ll try again tomorrow with natural light.) My face was probably something like this: O________________O when I spotted the display next to all the other OPI polishes. My limited-edition-obsessed mind forced me to buy a bottle without stopping to think about it for one second. Luckily I’m absolutely loving it on my nails. ♥__♥

Now on to the curious case of Miki in Budokan. I went to see Zara straight from Helsinki and had to do a lot of self-restraining in order not to drool all over the package during the ten-minute train trip to Sello where my parents picked me up on their way to the grocery store. Once I was finally home, I went straight upstairs and plugged in the VCR. It was at this point that I realized what a huge failure of a nerd I am. The Japanese have their videos in NTSC format whereas our VCR can only play PAL videos. All I saw on the TV screen was a white mess and the sound was too slow and overall weird. I must have flipped because at first I couldn’t do anything but laugh so hard at myself for being an idiot and then I started to frantically search the net for any information on how to get my hands on a VCR that can play NTSC videos. So far it has proven to be quite difficult, but I’ll try searching through flea markets and recycling centres when I find the time. Gosh I wish I had more intelligence in my brain…

~♥~

Well, I could keep on ranting about my angst for the whole night, but I guess it would be unhealthy for me and very unpleasant to my readers, so maybe I’ll just keep all the gory details of how the Tarja/Nightwish-deal still gets me depressed to myself. Hopefully I’ll have a nicer post for you next time. (There’ll probably be some major Mizu!fangirling, since I’ve ordered myself a few new things from Japan~ :D

Until then, dears! ♥

P.S. DAMNIT, if only I had waited for 21 more minutes to publish this… I didn’t realize 10/10/10 at 10:10 would happen twice if you’re using a.m./p.m. time format. >.<''

P.P.S. I’ve got to do this now so that I won’t forget…

I got this Beautiful Blogger Award from Zara. I have to share seven facts about myself and then tag seven people to do the same. I’ll tag all my readers, because I don’t like to spam people’s comment boxes with things like this, even though this is a nice award and everything. :'3

1. I feel like a failure. Mostly because, even though I’m studying to become an artisan, I feel like I have no direction in my life and I get absolutely nothing done.

2. I’ve inherited a tendency to get depressed during the darker months of the year from my mom.

3. I’ve also inherited her genes that allow me to eat practically anything and still stay thin.

4. I always try very hard to please other people and I sometimes get all worked up because I can’t please everyone at the same time.

5. I tend to get some sort of an identity crisis every other month or so, due to an obsession or the previous fact.

6. I feel like I’ve failed in English again in this post and it bothers me very much, as always.

7. I’m a procrastinator and a perfectionist. NOT a good combination, I can tell you. I always get depressed over things I haven’t done but it doesn’t make me do them any faster. *ahem* driving lessons, taiji and student card *ahem*

Devils’ Parade

Hiya all! Long time no see. For once I’m not going to apologize for the blog silence since I’ve got a perfect excuse for my absence. *dum-de-dum* It’s actually school. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, for the past two weeks I have actually been studying! I got accepted to the school I wished to attend! Yay, go me! I’m studying sewing women’s clothes. 8) Suits me perfectly, don’t you think?

Okay, I have a crapload of photos to show you and nothing much in my brain to tell about them. :'D It’s obviously been too long since my last update, too many things have happened and I can’t keep my thoughts organized. Sorry if this gets messy again. x3

Since I mentioned visiting my godparents’ summer house in my last post, I could start with that. No, I didn’t take any photos. Yes, I did manage to get Stella somewhat hooked on Takarazuka. Heck yes, we had a great time! We should definitely see each other more often~

~♥~

Chronologically, the next thing would probably be D’espairsray’s new album MONSTERS.

Limited edition with DVD (that I haven’t actually watched yet o.O), straight from Japan. :3 Took me a while to really get in to the songs, but the more I listen to it the better it sounds. It’s a bit lighter than their usual style, but it’s catchy and I’m sure it’ll work well live. I really need to start learning the lyrics by heart…

~♥~

I have been enjoying the Zukaism with Zara. One Saturday we went to Helsinki to window-shop all things otokoyaku. And, well, I bought a pair of Kamijo-boots. :____D It just happened, I swear I didn’t mean to! …Ahem, whatever, here’s a crappy photo of my outfit of that day:

The otokoyaku scarf combined with a black shirt and a pen skirt? I really don’t know. :'3 You can’t actually see it all that well in the photo, but I managed to make myself the Tooto nails. Finally!

I bought myself a new nail polish, yet again. My previous Tooto polish had run dry, so I couldn’t help buying GOSH Black Passion. The colour is love, but I don’t really love the horrible tip pull it creates. Anyway, Black Passion was the base, OPI Catch Me in Your Net was added on the tips and the finishing touches were done by an eyeliner brush with Lumene Natural Code Classy. The result? Here:

I didn’t bother to take too detailed a photo, since I haven’t got any detailed photos of the real Tooto nails myself. (Explanations, explanations. x3) I ended up loving the result and am actually thinking of doing this design with some other colours too. (RED, anyone?)

~♥~

Ahem, then I’ve got a mass of photos of my face from a random lonely photo shoot. :'3 Feel the otokoyaku-vibe with a hint of feminine Hetaism added in. :'D

Man, I feel like a woman~♪ Or not. xD Dude-ism (what’s with the creative use of language again?) doesn’t make me look hot… I don’t even look like my dad here. x3

~♥~

Okay, now on to the good part! Me, Zara and Nepi went to Helsinki last Sunday to take some photos. It was so much fun and it shows. :D

HetaZaraWanna get in trouble?

Russian blueRio de Bravo, anyone? :D

Umm, I don’t really have all that much free time these days… It takes me about an hour and a half to get to school and the same to get back home, and the days aren’t all that short either. Last week I managed to not sit on the computer every night and thus I got to sleep about six hours per night. Yesterday, I failed. I stayed up ‘til half past two in the morning, watching Zuka videos. How irresponsible can one be of herself? >___>'' Now I just have to share this, even though most of you probably aren’t interested… My Zuka fandom has risen to a level where I hail about every otokoyaku I see. I just discovered the greatness of Maya Miki and that discovery is going to cause me so much pain. The woman has had a concert in Budokan. Where she sung Malice Mizer’s Gekka no Yasoukyoku. The live video is extremely hard to find. Somebody please shoot me now! A hot otokoyaku (they really knew how to fanservice in the 90s) singing one of my favourite songs! Gekka no Yasoukyoku is actually my example of how to somewhat ruin your favourite song by having it as the tune of your alarm clock. But it’s love. I would do about anything to see a clip of Miki singing it. WHERE CAN I FIND THAT VIDEO? (It has also Mizu in it. *-*)

I ain’t got no money, money~♫

…I love the autumn fashion collections, by the way. They’re always full of clean cuts and black and everything that I love. If I had the money, I would shop ‘til I drop in Seppälä, Lindex and Stockmann. I need shiny leggings, for example.

Due to lack of sleep last night, I can’t come up with anything clever to write. :'3 Sorry~

Until next time sweeties~ ♥

P.S. Keep listening to Desert Rose by Sting (whom I won’t be seeing live T-T) and watching different versions of the hotness Kosame. ;3

P.P.S. I should probably revive my writing blog, since I’ve got some 3000 words of YuMizu fanfiction on my computer… 8D

Ways to prevent brain death

The title is inspired by my overflowing fangirlism for everything that happens to cross my way. If you are a fandom magnet like me, I strongly suggest staying away from the computer, or at least limit the time per week (or per day) that you can spend in the net. But more about my mental problems later. I’ll do this chronologically.

~♥~

Let’s start with my Finland mini-rail I did last week with my friend Pia (who is clearly my senior, born one day before me). Just to annoy the life out of my readers, I managed to take the grand amount of zero photos during our five-day trip around Finland. Isn’t that just great? :D No need to worry though, I have got a few photos to show you anyway.

Our trip started with a two and a half-hours long travel by train from Helsinki to Mikkeli. We stayed at Pia’s father’s parent’s summer house (I probably could have put that in other words, but my English is completely failing me. Ah, this is going to be lovely.) for the first night, continuing through Pieksämäki to Jyväskylä in the morning. The Finnish summer was showing its best during the whole trip, so we were pretty much dead tired throughout the days, as the temperature kept staying above 30 Celsius degrees. Jyväskylä was an okay place, but as it is a student town and we were there in June, it was pretty quiet everywhere in the evening. We did buy a couple of drinks in the evening, though. ;)

From Jyväskylä we headed towards Tampere, where we stayed for two nights. Tampere was a positive experience, even though the restaurants closed down pretty early, at 11 p.m. usually. We had reserved a whole day for visiting the Särkänniemi amusement park, which turned out to be a good decision. Here’s the wristband/ticket to the park:

We really took everything… Mitä hiivattia on koko rahan edestä englanniksi?! Kohta luovutan! Ahem, sorry about that, my English is SERIOUSLY failing me. Must be the fandom… How could I say this simply… We went to Särkänniemi just before noon when it opened for the day and stayed there until 7 p.m. when it closed. Money well spent. :D

After Tampere we headed for Rauma, where we were going to see Semmarit (a.k.a. Seminaarinmäen mieslaulajat), a Finnish a cappella group. Pia is a big fan of theirs and she really got me into it, too. (Act surprised, everyone! xD) We actually saw them from the first row, can you believe it? Pia was over the moon for just that. But this isn’t where our good luck ended. After the gig, we headed to a restaurant to get some dessert and a drink or two. After we had finished eating, it just so happens that two Semmari singers came to sit in our table! We ended up heading to a small bar with them and spending the rest of the night chatting with various members of the group. We only headed to our hotel at 1:30 a.m., tired but tremendously happy.

The next day was our last, and we headed for Turku to see Pia’s other grandparents. I took a train back home, but Pia stayed for the night to see Semmarit again.

~♥~

Okay, that was our mini-rail in a nutshell. In a very small nutshell on my scale, I might add. ^^ Now, on to everyone’s favourite part, photos!

I bought these two rings at a flea market in Mikkeli.

When I got back home, these babies were waiting for me. *-* I bought GACKT’s new single collection from CDJapan and apparently the first press edition came with an awesome plastic pocket. 8D Now I feel like collecting all my fan stuff in one place, take lots of photos and do a huge blog post of fandom. Luckily I’ll be away from the computer for the next five days so you won’t have to suffer from my stupid ideas. x3

I felt like taking photos the other day…

VessakuvaAnd the results are crappy, as always. (Check my vampire blog for more nightly photos. ^__~)

~♥~

And then on to the problems of my mind… I can’t get over my fandoms for the time being. GACKT. Semmarit. Takara-freaking-zuka (is that the way I’m supposed to put it? :'D).

Zara is in Japan at the moment and that evil little thing (whom I tremendously love) is talking to me via MSN, telling about how she went to see a hanagumi show today. *______* I’m having a Zuka high just for listening to her (...reading what she’s writing…) and she, being the angel she is, has bought me a Zuka DVD, a magazine and who knows what for who knows how many yen. ;______;♥ I’ll be in eternal gratitude for her. If I won’t die of a heart attac when she gets back in Finland, that is. Well, I’ll be a gratefull dead person in that case. :D

…I’ve had such good luck with gigs this year, maybe I’ll win a trip to Japan to see Mizu’s last performance in Takarazuka?

~♥~

Well, I’m off to Denmark tomorrow, after having my last entrance exam, so I’ll see you all again next week. I’ll finally be continuing with my driving lessons, something I’m not all that excited about. D: And since I couldn’t make it last weekend, I’ll be going to my godparents’ summer house on the 13th. (Friday the 13th, by the way. O.O)

Until next time, honeys~! Let’s hope that my next post is going to be a less-failing one…

* My Munich adventure *

That’s right, ladies and gentlemen; I’m back from my short trip to Munich! I’ll tell you right away that there are going to be two posts about this; this one right here about the trip in general and then another one for the gig, the man, the fandom etc. I mean, you don’t really think Gackt would even fit this post with his ego? Not to mention my fandom. This post would be like hundred miles long or something. x3

Anyways, let’s get this show on the road!

I was slightly nervous about travelling completely alone from start to finish for the first time. I left my house at around ten o’clock on Wednesday morning and first took a bus and a train to get to Helsinki. From there I took another bus to get to the airport. I had done my check-in in the net the previous night and travelled with hand luggage only, so I could just walk right through the security control to the gates. I had plenty of time at the airport, so I crabbed a sandwich and some hot chocolate. After eating, I had to wait for about twenty minutes for the boarding to start and before I knew it, I was on the plane heading for the Copenhagen airport. I flew with SAS and was a bit disappointed for not getting anything to drink. I would have had to pay just to get water, so I didn’t take anything and pretty much just slept through the flight.

At CPH I had to wait for about forty minutes for the boarding of my flight to Munich to start. I didn’t even need to walk anywhere, since the gate for the flight to Munich was the same one I had arrived to from Helsinki. I read for a while and just tried to relax as best as I could. I bought a bottle of water on the flight to Munich and again slept for the most part. Everything went very smoothly.

Once I arrived in Munich, I could easily find my way to the parking lot, where my bus to the centre was already waiting. The bus driver was very friendly and there were only about ten people in the bus during the drive. I saved 2,50€ by buying a two-way ticket, yay! It took about an hour to reach the centre, so I was there at some time before six p.m.

The first thing I did in Munich was buying a map of the city from the train station. It didn’t help me all that much at first, though, because I got a bit lost right away. I somehow managed to misunderstand where I was in the first place and started to walk to the direction that was about 45 degrees off from where I was actually supposed to be going. :'D Well, after a few wrong turns and pauses to read the map, I managed to find my way to the hotel. ^^

There was some kind of a promotion event for the movie Knight and Day on the Karlsplatz, which was completely crowded with people.

The fountain was surrounded with huge Knight and Day banners and there was a red carpet on the other side of it. Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz were actually coming to the place, but I didn’t stay to wait, since I wouldn’t have been able to see them anyway and I just wanted to find my hotel. :'3

I reached my hotel at around eight p.m. and after settling down, I went to eat to an Italian restaurant which was in the same building as the hotel. I first spoke English to the waiters but when I heard them speaking in Italian I also changed the language. They were first trying to speak to me in German, but I figured that I’m more comfortable in Italian. The waiters were obviously very pleased with that, as Italians often are when they hear a foreigner trying to speak their language. After eating Spaghetti Napoli and some Crème caramel, I asked for the bill in Italian. The waiter asked me if I was French and I told me I was Finnish. He was all “Que bella!” and I felt really pleased with myself, obviously. ^^ I thanked him and wished him good night, heading back to my hotel room.

The first night in Munich was painful, to say the least. I took a shower in the evening, but my room was so hot that I was hardly able to sleep at all. Luckily I’ve been sleeping shorter nights lately, so waking up in the morning wasn’t as hard as I thought it might be.

I took another shower in the morning, made myself some tea and headed out to the shopping street, to buy myself a deodorant (the best thing to forget when going to +30°C Munich to see Gackt in a concert >.<''). I took my camera with me, just to take some photos for you!

The shopping street was right through this gate. I took the photos on my way back to te hotel, after having walked to the Karlsplatz again. ^^

In the middle of the walking street, there’s Marienplatz with this huge Neue Rathaus that just wouldn’t fit in one photo!

There are some dolls in the tower that supposedly do something at certain times of day. I heard some bells ringing when I was there, but the dolls wouldn’t move. Here’s a close-up anyway:

And under the dolls, there was a statue of someone riding. (Wow, good job me with finding out what was going on with these sights!)

I had to take tons of photos because the building was so beautiful. *-* Too bad I was hurrying and didn’t really pay too much attention, so the quality is once again crappy. :'3

I wonder why they’d put some random shops in such a gorgeous building. o.O Well, I loved watching it from the outside.

There was a golden statue on top of a pillar in the middle of the square. I guess she’s the Holy Mary, considering that this was Mariensplatz and that she’s holding a baby with her left arm. ^^ A close-up again:

Tired of the photos yet? Just a couple more. :D

A tower!

A church!

People by the river. Just where I would’ve liked to be. *-*

Yet another tower!

Okay, that’s pretty much it for the photos. ^^ I decided to save some money and ate lunch at a McDonald’s. That Big Mac meal was the only thing I ate on Thursday, so it’s a surprise I didn’t die at the gig. :D

I came back to the hotel at around 13.30 and rested there for a while. I took yet another shower and thought about sleeping, but I was way too nervous to do that. I ended up leaving the hotel at around three p.m. and didn’t get too lost on my way to the venue.

*insert the gig review here*

I was back at the hotel somewhere around ten p.m., totally soaked from sweating and from the rain. The thunderstorm was a blessing, really, although I was slightly worried about the only pair of shoes I brought with me. :'D I stayed up for some time, beaming and taking photos of the goods I bought (more about them later) and having a texting war with Zara. :'3 I took a shower and went to sleep before midnight.

The next morning was cloudy, and it rained a bit when I left the hotel. A kind man in the reception did my check-in for me, so I didn’t have to worry about that. I walked to the station, hopped on the airport bus and ended up being three hours early at the airport. I ate some sushi (which was incredibly good, by the way *-*) before heading for the security control. I spent most of the extra time listening to Gackt and reading, but I felt more like sleeping. I got to sit with a lot of small children around me in the plane, some playing around, some screaming for fun and some crawling on the floor. So no sleep at all during that flight. Luckily I like kids an am usually patient, so I was mostly able to laugh it of. Especially when I realized I was going to get a free meal with drinks. *-* (Nothing special, but at least I didn’t have to pay! And I got some orange juice, bliss.~) Lufthansa was a much more pleasant experience than SAS, I can tell you that.

When I got back to Helsinki, I had my whole family waiting for me. Everyone had so much to tell others, since dad had been on a biking trip for the past week and mom had taken my sister with her to Seinäjoki where she had spent her nights when she had a gig with her singing group nearby.

I hope that’s all for my trip. o.o I’m feeling pretty much exhausted. Sorry for the low quality of this post, I feel like I’ve failed with English again. -.-'' Can’t have anything to do with my will to get to write the gig review already. ;D
