Always Obsessed

Creativetitles.com :''D

Ahem, I always suck at getting to the point…

It’s been two weeks again, sorry for that! ^^ Here’s a brief version of what’s been going on in my life in these past two weeks:

1. I was being shy at Tsukicon with Zara (stalking people we know from the net, bloggers and such…). I tried to wear fake nails for the first time in my life and that… Well, let’s just say it wasn’t a very successful experiment. :''D

2. I’ve been a bit sick, a typical post-stress reaction or something.

3. I learned that the German shop I was ordering my Elisabeth DVD from has run out of copies so I’ll have to wait for 8-12 weeks 'til I’ll get it. T-T But hopefully I’ll get the CD early next week.

4. Umm… And yeah, as the title indicates, I’ve got myself obsessed in various “new” things. Or rather my old obsessions have expanded. (… Brain lag, I’m watching V-ROCK FESTIVAL and they’re showing Aoi’s performance atm. *-* …) My Phantom of the Opera fandom has got a new Takarazuka dimension and thus my Takarazuka fandom has got a new Wao Yoka dimension. *3* Which has lead to WaoHana fandom and to a renewal of my love for Victorian dresses. I can’t sleep because I only want to sew. But I suck at drawing patterns… It’s a dilemma. And my mom won’t buy me new fabrics until I finish my previous projects. T-T I suck at finishing things. Here’s a clip where you can (well, somewhat) see the dress I’d love to make:

(It’s the white one, in case you were wondering.) *3* I have absolutely no idea of where I’d wear a dress like that… Not at school obviously… Fancy throwing a ball, anyone?

Boohoo, I’ve got a feeling that this post is going to be a huge one… Sorry! XD

Nail status:

LyhyetThey’re short and yellow. T-T I really need to do something about them today… >___>''

Hair status:

hiukset2 hiukset3

(Lol, I look like a ghost >:D) A couple of experiments I’ve had with my shorter hair. For some reason I can’t keep from curling my hair these days. Shorter hair –> more volume, please!

Next subject… Helsinki Book Fair! *-* It’s been one of my favourite happenings of the year ever since I went there for the first time about seven years ago. I was a true book worm at the time and though I don’t read as much these days my love for books hasn’t faded. This year I went there with Taitti and Niina on Friday and then again with my mom on Saturday. Too many people, too much to see, too many books but I love it. This year it was “pappa betalar” (dad pays) for both me and mom. :____D It’s a good thing that my dad always supports our hobbies because otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to buy anything due to my poor financial status. :''D Anyways, here’s what I bought:

KirjamessuostoksetThe things I bought on Friday are on top and Saturday’s findings are bellow. ^^ As you can see, I focused mainly on manga on Friday. I bought Love Celeb 1&2 in Finnish (*-* I can’t help loving the way Shinjo Mayu draws male characters…), Vampire Knight 5 in English and then that huge Comic Beam in Japanese (because it was only 5 euros and there seemed to be a few interesting chapters there… Now I just need to start practicing my Japanese :''D). On Saturday I got mom to buy me (or us) a book full of misheard lyrics. It’s hilarious! Mom also found a book about dollhouses and I encouraged her to buy it. I haven’t got around to reading it yet but it seems really beautiful and lovely. I bought J.R.Ward’s Dark Lover in Finnish for myself because it just happened to catch my attention and as it is about vampires I couldn’t help buying it. (Now I’m in trouble because I’m supposed to be reading a book for my mother tongue class but I would much rather read this vampire book… xP) I haven’t got any photos from the fair itself because I never remember to take any photos… >.<''

I know this is a mile long post already but I’ve got to share with you just one more thing. I got my tai chi sword on Thursday! Here:

Taijimiekka2(Lol at the pose x3) It’s a bit too simple (not decorated) for my taste but I guess it goes well with the tai chi ideology… It looks a bit too orange too… Well, who cares as long as I can start practicing the sword form in January. :3

I had something more to write about but (to all my readers’ luck) I forgot what it was. ^^'' So, until next time my friends! (If school doesn’t kill me first, that is…)

Um, oh yeah! (I promise I’ll make it short. :'3) About my obsessions… I’ve got myself totally hooked on Facebook games like FarmVille, Vampire Wars and Café World. :''D It’s a bit pitiful, staying up ‘til midnight watching how my virtual plants grow. :______D

And plus, I feel like I’d like to change this blog’s appearance… But I haven’t got any ideas! If you have any suggestions, please let me know! ^^

The Reawakening of My Inner Vampire

Hooray for creative titles! It’s kinda hard to write something impressive after such a dumbfounding start. Well, I’m going to try anyway. ^^

So I’ve managed to really get stuck with my vampire-fandom after a short break (read: love for the hime-gyaru fashion). As it turns out I had no need to worry about losing my great love for vampires. Reading Jennifer Rardin’s One More Bite was all it took for me to fall headlong into the deep abyss of this dangerous and yet oh-so-sweet obsession of mine. Jaz Parks really kicks you-know-what. ^^ These books are a must for every vampire lover out there. This brings stop to my let’s-try-wearing-pink-and-white-clothes period. The vampires are back. Loud and clear. What, got it already? Okay, okay, I’m moving on. ^^

I’m not going to write all that much about our May Day party 'cause there isn’t really too much to write about. On Thursday we had good time at school laughing at the teachers who really had outdone themselves with the costumes and their surprise show at the end of the day. My parents hosted a party for about ten friends of theirs and I spent the evening reading One More Bite. ^^ Yesterday we ate lunch at Dipoli (I ended up eating way too much dessert) and I spent the evening reading the book I’ve already mentioned twice and some manga. And that’s pretty much it for my May Day celebration. Sounds boring but if you read the book you would understand my happiness.

Now moving on with NOTD (nails of the day for you who aren’t totally hooked to all sorts of nail blogs). I managed to snap a few photos today when it was nice and sunny. Here’s one for you:

kynsitarrat

I bought two sheets of nail stickers last Tuesday when I was shopping in Tapiola. I realize just now that I probably should have taken a couple more photos to show you everything I bought but now you’ll just have to wait a while longer. I bought two shirts (both black and white striped), the nail stickers and a pinkish pearl necklace. Whee. But now let’s get back to the subject, which was my nails if I remember correctly. I used two coats of Lumene’s nail polish #8 Angel Touch. I’ve had it quite a long time now and the polish is getting a bit too thick. It’s a shame since I really like the colour. The top coat I used is by Mavala. I kinda like these nails. At first I thought they were too short but after the polish and stickers were in place I realized their length is actually quite good. If the polish had applied more evenly these nails would have been almost perfect for me. ^^

I’ve been listening to Sugizo on YouTube and I’m really starting to like his music. ^^ It’s… Hypnotizing, almost, and I really like that. I would like to repeat the word like once again to emphasize the point. Thanks Zara for bringing him to my attention. ^^ And really, what can you expect if the concert’s name is ~RISE TO COSMIC DANCE~? I wish I’d have come up with a name like that, like, when I was creating my blog or something. Seriously, how cool is that? Only 45,15 Euros and the live DVD could be mine… Which actually brings us closer to my next subject.

After about two years of waiting, Interria finally releases their first album. Yayy! They are a French band playing metal/rock music with a mix of electro sounds. Their lyrics are in French, which is great for me since I’m desperately trying to study the language. This time I’ll definitely have to get my dad to order the CD for me ASAP. ^^

Gah, tomorrow’s going to be so full of school work it depresses me to even think about it. We’ll see whether I’ll actually manage to do everything I’m supposed to do… With my current mentality I think I’ll end up playing Orochi or SingStar… Or watch Gackt’s DVDs. The acoustic version of 君が待っているから would definitely make my day. Not to mention 届カナイ愛ト知ッテイタノニ抑エキレズニ愛シ続ケタ… with my ‘rediscovered’ skills at loving vampire-related things…

Life after Easter holidays

Wow, it's been two weeks since I updated last time. o.o Sorry about that. My life's kinda boring, so there usually isn't too much to write about. :P

I was in Lapland for four days last week, mainly snowboarding. Whee! ^w^ I was dead tired almost every day though, and I just can't see why. Too much sleeping maybe...

This is going to be a boring entry due to the lack of photos. (Wow, seriously, that sure got you interested, didn't it?) Except if I miraculously happen to find some random photos from my camera...

Haha! Found one. This is a good chance to advertise my mom's cousin's t-shirts, found here.

tpaitarandomness
Yeah, I know, I look dead. But hey, it's about 7:30 in the morning, can you blame me? The t-shirt is a part of the Young Lovers limited edition 'Midnight Twilight' collection and it's called 'Vampire Meets the Hound'. I love it. ^^ <3 Go see the website; there are better photos and lots of other cool designs! /End of the advertisement.

Now getting on... So I spent my holiday in Olos, which is one of the best places for your Easter holidays. I happened to be in the same hotel with our Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb and his family and Aino-Kaisa Saarinen, Finland's leading female skiier (I have no idea if that's the official way to put it. ^^)

By the way, I am now officially hooked to nail blogs. ^^'' I've been staring all those beautiful pictures of people's nails and reading about different nail polishes, and thus I just had to buy myself a new bottle of polish. I bought L'Oréal's Star Magnet magnetic silver, which turned out to be a success. No pics yet though, sorry! It's a bit tricky to use, so I must practice a little more before taking any photos. I think I'll have to buy another bottle, maybe another colour, because it is a limited edition nail polish and I don't want it to end! :P (And here I was trying to save money... ;;___;;)

I want to buy too many things. .___.'' There's that trinity Blood 7 manga that never showed up in stores before I bought vol. 8, then the Trinity Blood DVDs, a Konad nail art set and Jennifer Rardins's Jaz Parks books. And some clothes... That's so going to hurt my wallet.

I'm not sure if there has been enough pointless rant up until now, so I'll give you a little more random trivia. I've finished the Breaking Dawn audio book for the second time. Or was it the third...? Well, anyways, I've finished it. And now I would like to start again. It's actually very relaxing to listen to someone reading. Except, of course, when there happens something nasty in the book that is being read... (The middle part of Breaking Dawn, couple of seriously painful chapters there!)

Well, that's about it. I already decided that I will handle this spring better than the last one but that's easier to say than do. I'm already feeling the stress loading up... But tomorrow is Friday and then I'll be able to enjoy the weekend. Everything's going to be fine. *assuring herself*
